Since I joined the team in 2018, I’ve had a lot of exciting new
experiences, and have been blessed with many opportunities. But, more importantly I’ve grown. Grown as a dancer, grown as a leader, grown in my walk with Christ. I can’t say it’s been easy, I can’t say it will be easy. I can say it’s been some of the most fulfilling work I’ve done in my life. It’s not just the dancing. If I wanted to just dance on stage or teach it, I could learn to do that professionally elsewhere. It’s not just the ministry. If I wanted to do youth ministry—or ministry of other kinds—I could do that elsewhere. No, it is the Refined Undignified ministry that I feel, and think, God has placed on my heart to do. I love doing this work. This is one of the few places I’ve worked where even after an exhausting, emotionally draining, day of work (which doesn’t happen all the time) I couldn’t be more joyful for the work I’ve done. Not proud, but rather content. Satisfied. I truly believe God has called me to this ministry. And I am grateful for such a calling.
