COVID 19 PLANS
Refined/Undignified is moving forward with beginning the 2020/21 ministry year in September with precautions that are coinciding with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and Briercrest College and Academy.
Our overall goal continues to be ensuring a safe environment, spiritually, mentally, and physically for RU members.
This plan anticipates that the school will begin to reopen September 1, 2020. This presumes that Saskatchewan is successfully operating according to the Stage 4 of the Re-open Saskatchewan Plan. Our Plan aligns with the dictates of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (July 9, 2020 update) and we will continue to monitor the evolving best practices related to public protocols and policies. This plan is highly adaptive, allowing for adjustments as Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) directs changes.
SASKATCHEWAN HEALTH AUTHORITY as of July 6, 2020 states: Performing Arts Guidelines
The information below provides guidelines to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in activities including, but not limited to, music, dance and theatre, and apply to all individuals involved, such as performers, instructors/directors, staff, assistants, volunteers and members of the general public.
Performing arts organizations and facilities in Saskatchewan may resume operation on July 6, 2020.
The COVID-19 virus is spread between individuals from exposure to droplets and aerosols generated in an individual's respiratory system (mouth, nose, throat, lungs, etc.). Droplets are created when talking, singing, playing instruments that require air to be blown into them, and through activities that require physical exertion, resulting in heavier breathing. The greater the force that droplets are expelled from the respiratory system, the greater the distance they can travel.
