Paul tells us to "run the race with endurance", and yet these last few months I feel like I have been sprinting. It's been four long months since my last update letter and I am writing to you from a place of heaviness and recovery. I have just finished a long, growing year that has had many miracles, joys, pains and frustrations that have ALL been an important part to my own personal growth and the growth and development of our teams. We are told to give thanks in all circumstances, to rejoice in suffering because it produces perseverance, character and hope. I am learning this each day.

Coming back from our tour in Dawson Creek, BC this last January, we hit the floor running right into the new school year. This very busy semester has involved performing every weekend from the beginning of February all the way to Easter! It has been a incredible time of ministry with churches, schools and youth groups. Youth Quake was an absolute hit this year, with 2000 students coming to our small little village for a cold, 3 day, concert event in February. We had the privilege of performing as guests at YQ for the fifth year in a row and also performed one of our shows with special guests; Group One Crew sitting in the third row, as we danced to their very own songs! Intimidating to say the least, but it was a blast and something I will never forget. In March, we did a 11 day tour down to Oregon and it was a dream come true for me. Being able to perform for my home church for the first time in seven year, to go to my old high school, and showing off my beautiful home state to my team family, I couldn't have been more happy the way everything turned out!

As time passes, change is inevitable, and February brought a lot of change to the ministry of Refined/Undignified. Winston Pines, the founder and co-leader of RU, through much prayer and seeking the Lord, decided with Greg and Chantel Denie to relocate to Calgary, AB, a bigger city center to continue the work of Refined/Undignified under the name of Legacy One. These men and women have a strong heart for the lost and a determination to be a light in the darkness. This "branching off" was a very good thing, but after working with Winston for seven years it has been hard to see him leave. We all feel that God was leading us in this direction and are excited for what the next step holds. We also expect to be working and partnering together in the future.

Each January Camp Days is held at Briercrest. This event is a few days designated for camp director from all over Canada to come to our school and recruit and promote their camp to our student body. This was a golden opportunity to do something that I had dreamed about for years. We set up a performance for all the directors to come and see our powerful presentation of the gospel to this generation through dance. Then shared that we are considering a camp tour with Refined/Undignified, and we couldn't believe the response! Now, we have a two month, dance tour performing at ten camps across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba! This is going to be an incredible tour because we will have the whole week to spend with teens across Western Canada, building relationships with them, teaching them to dance and sharing our lives with them. I have also been asked to be the guest speaker for a few camps. I believe this will be the most impactful tour Refined/ Undignified has ever been a part of. From June 20th through Aug.27th you can follow our journey at http://refinedundignifiedcamping.blogspot.com/

We ended the school year with our seventh annual year end show and fundraiser in April and it was a lot of fun. Each member was assigned to come up and choreograph their own type of dance and we had the privilege of sharing a very creative and eclectic performance for two nights. We also introduced the night with a hilarious skit highlighting our camp tour this summer. Since then, we held a "week of fundraising" where we did a car wash, yard work, spring cleaning, and a three day yard sale, where we had the best weather we have had in months and was also donated a 1984 Ford Truck! We decided to keep it and name it "Roo".

Currently, I am living in Caronport with the Highschool guys, catching up on a long "To Do" List, preparing for our camp tour, working on my immigration, and trying to rest before bootcamp June 20th. As for me, God has made it very clear that I am called to Caronport. My heart is to see students trained, equipped and mentored in reaching the lost, and this couldn't be a better atmosphere for that to take place. I am heading into next year with no ongoing leadership from last year, I will be training new leaders from the students of this year's team and hopefully have enough workers to continue both the High School and College teams, but only God knows. So I am pressing on, with God as my guide, I don't know what the future holds and right now it feels a little grey, but He who has called me is Faithful and HE WILL DO IT!
