Hey Everyone! My name is Madison Summer Dueck, and making dance the biggest part of my life was something that I never thought would be possible. Since I was 15 I’ve grown to become passionate about spreading God’s love with the marginalized. I found an outlet for that passion through working with at-risk youth at a non-profit organization in Winnipeg, Manitoba called Inner City Youth Alive. I have grown passionate about Christ and the relevance His grace has in each of our lives. So although I have been dancing and competing at a studio for 10 years, using dance as a way to share God’s love didn’t seem like an option. Until by chance I discovered….(*cue drum-roll*) Refined Undignified!! And it all seemed to make sense!! I’ll be interning here at RU in the their first year of internships and am looking forward to a year filled with growth and hard-work. I’m excited to use my dance training to assist an organization that is incredibly focused on what really matters in life. With this opportunity will come a whole set of expectations and challenges, one of which will be raising enough funds to support myself to be a part of their team. I will need help financially, as well as in prayer! Please pray that God will keep my eye’s locked on His plans.
