My name is Steve and I work with Refined Undignified, a dance team based in Caronport SK. RU is in our 12th year of operation and has had the opportunity to perform and lead workshops across Canada as well as in the USA, Mexico, & England.
We would love to partner with you in ministry to your students this February. Our touring team hastwo different shows for you to choose from and they are also skilled at leading dance workshops for any age and skill level.
While we have the privilege of working closely with Briercrest College, we are a separate non-profit ministry and we love the opportunity to connect with and encourage other bible school students. I assure you this is not a recruiting ploy and we would in no way desire to take students away from your institution, but rather come alongside you in unity as we all serve Christ uniquely.
What would it look like? We would come with a team of 6 dancers and would be prepared to lead an engaging and powerful evening for your students.
The general outline for an event is as follows: 1. Opening - Perform a hype-up dance, introduce ourselves and take sometime to get to know the students. 2. Show- Engaging and impacting 40-minute performance which tells a story through dance and ultimately presents the audience with a spiritual question. 3. Talk - 5-10 minute wrap-up of the message the show, challenging the viewers to consider their own lives and make the necessary changes. 4. Worship Through Song - An intentional time of refection and worship lead by members of our team. We are available to pray with students during this time. 5. Mingling- Time spent talking with audience members and connecting with them on various levels before we begin our clean up.
Dates Available
We're planning a ten day tour from February 20-28, 2015. We are also open to coming to your school at another time in the year that suits you better, so let us know what would work best.
